Intimate Vow Renewal at the Bellagio

A 14-guest sunset ceremony beside the fountains and a single candlelit table for dinner.

Bellagio Las Vegas · Hyde Lounge Terrace 10–18 guestsMicro vow renewal · Ceremony + dinner

A vow renewal for couples celebrating 10, 25, or 50 years — kept tight on purpose. We design the entire evening around a single round table for 14, set on a terrace that opens directly onto the Bellagio fountain lake. The ceremony, dinner, and toasts all happen in one place. Nothing moves but the light.

Inspiration

The brief was Italian villa, not Las Vegas hotel. Bellagio's lakeside architecture already does the heavy lifting — limestone balustrades, lampposts, the fountain show every 30 minutes. We dressed for that, not against it. The table is the room. One arrangement, low and tight. Taper candles only — no votives, no hurricanes. Every guest can hear every toast. Every toast happens while the fountains are running.

Florals

  • ·White peonies (in season May–early July) — the entire arrangement is built around them
  • ·White O'Hara garden roses and ranunculus as supporting cast
  • ·Sweet pea and lily of the valley for fragrance
  • ·No greens except a whisper of silver dollar eucalyptus
  • ·Centerpiece sits no taller than 12" — guests look across it, not around it

Tabletop

  • ·Silk-cotton blend tablecloth in warm ivory, hand-finished hem
  • ·Round Louis XVI dining chairs with cream linen cushions
  • ·White bone china with delicate gold rim
  • ·Gold flatware, cut crystal stemware (water, white, red, champagne)
  • ·Hand-tied napkin with a single sprig of olive and the guest's first name on linen

Lighting plan

The terrace runs entirely on ambient and candlelight. Bellagio's existing lampposts stay on at their normal level. The table is lit by twelve 12-inch tapers in low brass holders, plus four mercury votives at the centerpiece base. As the sky darkens, the fountains' lighting becomes the backdrop — we time the first toast to the 8:00 PM fountain show.

Event flow

  1. 6:30 PMGuests arrive at the Hyde Lounge entrance, champagne welcome
  2. 7:00 PMCeremony on the terrace — 18 minutes, fountains run at 7:00
  3. 7:20 PMSparkling toast, photos in fountain light
  4. 7:45 PMSeated dinner — three courses, single shared table
  5. 8:00 PMFirst toast timed to the fountain show
  6. 9:30 PMDessert and digestifs, fountains at 9:30
  7. 10:30 PMGuests walk back through the conservatory

Planner notes

  • Bellagio terrace events are permitted by the property's special events team — booking window is typically 90–180 days out for fountain-side patios.
  • Peonies set the date. If the couple's anniversary is outside the peony window, we substitute white juliet roses, which read nearly identical at this scale.
  • We recommend a separate suite for the couple to dress in — Bellagio offers fountain-view rooms two floors above the terrace, perfect for getting-ready photos.
