Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the services and website provided by KayC Events LLC, a limited liability company organized in the State of Nevada ("KayC Events," "we," "us," or "our"). By engaging our services or using kaycevents.com, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services

KayC Events provides event planning, design, coordination, and related consulting services for weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations. Services are delivered under the scope described in your signed proposal or contract. Any changes to scope must be agreed to in writing by both parties.

2. Fees, Taxes & Invoicing

Planning, design, and coordination fees are quoted on your proposal or invoice. Professional planning services are not subject to Nevada state sales tax and are invoiced without a sales tax line. Where third-party goods or services procured on your behalf (such as rentals or tangible items) are separately taxable, applicable taxes will be itemized on the corresponding invoice. All amounts are in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.

3. Bookings & Deposits

A signed contract and non-refundable deposit are required to secure your event date. The deposit amount and payment schedule are detailed in your proposal. Failure to submit payments on time may result in release of your date and forfeiture of deposits paid.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Cancellations must be submitted in writing. Deposits are non-refundable. Depending on the timing of cancellation, additional payments may be retained to cover work already performed. Rescheduling is subject to availability and may require a new deposit.

5. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to provide timely decisions, accurate guest counts, venue access details, and any required permits or insurance. Delays caused by incomplete information may affect the quality of deliverables and are not grounds for refund.

6. Vendor & Venue Coordination

KayC Events coordinates with third-party vendors and venues on your behalf. We are not liable for the actions, omissions, or failures of independent vendors. Clients are responsible for reviewing and signing separate contracts with vendors directly.

7. Liability

The total liability of KayC Events LLC is limited to the total fees paid for services under the applicable contract. As a Nevada limited liability company, the personal assets of the members, managers, and employees of KayC Events LLC are not subject to claims arising from our services. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to emotional distress or lost profits.

8. Intellectual Property

All planning materials, designs, mood boards, timelines, and proprietary tools created by KayC Events remain our intellectual property. Clients receive a limited license to use these materials solely for the event described in their contract.

9. Website Use

Use of the KayC Events website and client portal is subject to these terms. You may not scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the platform. Accounts are for individual use and may not be shared.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Clark County, Nevada.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our services or website constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes will be communicated to active clients via email.
